Traditional Greek Vinegars

Vinegar is an essential part of the Greek Diet. Since ancient times, Vinegar has been appreciated for both its taste and health aspects. It is used as a dressing, and a natural preservative for vegetables, and for curing olives; diluted with water, it was an ancient remedy. Cooks often add vinegar during cooking, to combine the sweet taste of the wine origin with the tinge and aromas of a good vinegar. Vinegar is also used in Greece for washing fresh vegetables and glass ware (and windows!). Traditionally it is a treatment for many kinds of bites, fever, poisoning and burns.

Greeks have been making vinegar for thousands of years. Our vinegars are sourced from producers who use the best traditional methods and ingredients, with no artifical  flavours or thickeners.
